Accessibility at STRANGEkit
STRANGEkit is currently working towards making our online content more accessible.
It is very important to us that our work can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, and we are currently putting in place specific goals and commitments for the company's overall accessibility.
Our accessibility commitments/goals - What we are currently implementing:
Including accessibility symbols on our website to direct viewers to specifically accessible content or viewing options.
Adding closed captioning and/or transcripts for all previous and future online performances.
Including image descriptions for all of our visual social media posts.
A commitment to being aware of audiences with sensory sensitivities, and creating less overwhelming options for these viewers where possible.
Including content warnings for performances and public posts which may cause distress or difficulties for some viewers.
Planning and implementing accessibility practices for future live performances.
Learning, researching and keeping updated with changes to recommended accessibility practices.
